The Eagle Project

A non profit-making organization, working to build relationships with children and adolescents at risk, who daily battle with poverty, drug addiction, crime, abuse, or prostitution, whilst living on the streets, in favelas (slums) or serving sentences in youth prisons.  The team aims to create a link with these children and adolescents offering a different future, also visiting and helping their family so that whenever possible they can remain at, or return home.  Where this is impossible we offer them a new home where they can make a fresh start  away from the streets or prison.

Due to the small number of organizations and places currently available we hope to open homes with trained professionals to address and care for their specific needs.  Here they will learn to care for their personal hygiene, come off drugs, develop life-skills, go to school/university,  learn a trade, play sports, musical instruments etc.

Many young people have been helped in this way by The Eagle Project.  Often those with whom we work have been discarded by society as hopeless and useless.  However, our aim is to offer them another chance and help them to find a new future.
